Shipping
We have found that many companies do not disclose their shipping charges until you are checking out. This is frustrating for most shoppers. Chocolate Lotus offers free shipping for all mainland US orders over $50. For orders under $50 we offer $5 flat rate shipping to the 48 continental US states.

Please remember to always include a valid email address and phone # with your order in the event we need to contact you about your order or to confirm your shipping address.

All mainland US orders over $50 (standard shipping): FREE SHIPPING

Orders with standard shipping ship within 1-3 business days and may be shipped USPS Parcel Post or First Class. Delivery time for Parcel Post or First Class mail generally takes 6-10 business days and can take longer during the holidays.

All mainland US orders under $50 (standard shipping): $5.00

Preferred Shipping: $6.95

At a flat $6.95 fee for preferred shipping to any mainland US location, your order will ship the same or next business day. Preferred Shipping orders will be shipped by USPS Priority or FedEx Home/Ground delivery. Orders generally arrive in 2-5 business days but can take longer during the holidays.

Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska: $10.95

A flat $10.95 fee will be charged for orders shipping to Hawaaii and Alaska. Orders will be shipped by USPS Priority. Orders generally arrive in 3-5 business days but can take longer during the holidays.

Expedited shipping (3-day, 2-day, overnight) is based upon the weight of your order and is calculated during the checkout process once you have entered in your shipping address and chosen a shipping method.

If you are concerned about the safety of an order being left at your door by USPS or FedEx, then you should choose an expedited shipping method and we will require signature for delivery. FedEx charges an additional amount for signature for delivery. If you do not choose an expedited option and the package is delivered to your door but you do not receive it, we are not responsible and cannot reship or refund your order.

***Shipping to Canada and all international locations is based upon weight and current USPS Priority shipping rates. International Shipping is based upon the weight of your order and is calculated during the checkout process once you have entered in your shipping address and chosen a shipping method. You will be able to see the total amount for shipping prior to entering your payment information and placing your order.

We always ship international orders via USPS Priority Mail which includes tracking to ensure your order arrives quickly and safely. We do not ship international orders via First Class mail.

Return Policy
Every purchase from Chocolate Lotus Inc. is guaranteed. Unopened items may be returned in their original condition and packaging within 10 days of your receipt of the item for a refund of the product purchase price. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. Once the items are received, your refund will be processed immediately. Please contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to returning any items. If you return your item(s) without an RA number, your order will not be refunded and you will have to pay additional shipping charges if you would like us to return the item(s) to you.

We do not accept returns of opened or used merchandise and we do not accept returns of any food item including drink mixes, cakes, gourmet chocolates, etc. We do not accept returns after 10 days of your receipt of the item. Gift Baskets may not be returned as they are personalized and customized at the time of order.

Damaged items will be replaced with an identical product. Please contact us within 5 days of receipt of any damaged items and save the box and all packaging materials, as they may be needed.


Payment
We offer secure on-line ordering using PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to place an order. You will not be required to open a PayPal account to place your order. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX and eChecks.


Tax
Only items shipped within the State of Florida will be taxed. The Sales Tax Rate is 7%.

To ensure our customers privacy, we never sell, loan, rent or give away your name, email, address, or any other personal information to any third party.
